Seachem South American Cichlid Buffer 4.5+
South American Cichlid Buffer 4.5+™ is designed to enhance the natural environment of South American cichlids by decreasing hardness and adjusting pH. It is formulated to maintain a pH in the acid range (4.5–5.8). When used with South American Cichlid Buffer 7.0™ the pH can be specifically targeted (see chart, left panel). For optimum replication of the South American waters, use with South American Cichlid Salt™ and South American Cichlid Trace™.
DIRECTIONS: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 10 L (2.5 gallons*) daily until intended pH is reached. Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes as required to maintain pH. To raise pH, use South American Cichlid Buffer 7.0™. To target a particular pH use in combination with South American Cichlid Buffer 7.0™ following the chart below. Use Prime™ to dechlorinate tap water before doing a water change. (Note: The 2 & 4 L container’s cap is 10 mL).
